Rabbi Yossi Vorovitch was born in 1992 and raised in Toronto, Canada, where his parents are leaders in the Local Jewish community, imbued their children with a sense of unconditional devotion to the Toronto Jewish Community.

 

Rabbi Yossi studied in the Lubavitch Yeshivah in Cincinnati for his high school years. He furthered his studies at a Rabbinical College in Israel, and also studied at the Central Lubavitcher Yeshiva in Brooklyn and continued his postgraduate studies at the Kollel Institute in Brooklyn. He received his Rabbinical Ordination from Rabbi Zalman Labkowski in 2015.

Chaya Vorovitch (Nee Nemni) was born in 1994 and raised in London, England. where she absorbed the values of responsibility and devotion to her fellow Jews. She grew along with the community and celebrated her milestones in tandem with those of the community.

 

Chaya graduated from High School in London, England, in the year 2012, she preceded her studies at Beis Chana seminary in Tzfat, Israel where she received her degree in Teaching, and later spent a year in Martinique, Teaching and helping run the local Chabad Jewish Centre there. Then coming to New York to help Mentor and Teach in the Machon Le’yehadus College for Women.

 

In March 2016, she married Rabbi Yossi Vorovitch. Up until the summer of 2017, they lived in Brooklyn, New York where Chaya taught in the Ohr Menachem Elementary School, and Rabbi Yossi continued his Torah studies and ran various outreach programs.

 

Inspired by the Rebbe's campaign to prepare the world for the coming of Moshiach,  they currently endeavor to take part in this crucial mission by reaching out to every Jew in The Georgina Region, providing a wide variety of educational, religious, and social services. Their emphasis is on sharing the treasures of our tradition and affording every Jew the opportunity to experience his or her wonderful Jewish heritage.
